I hate that wired feeling. It feels like my eyes have been pinned open with chicken wire, and when I shut them they spring open again. It's horrible. One would think after being awake all night one would be sleepy. One is never sleepy though, only wired and frazzled and the less sleep, the more wired until the central nervous system starts malfunctioning and your muscles flop like in a cataleptic attack (or maybe that's just me). The doctor said it was nothing to worry about, my CNS was just overloaded. Easy for him to say!
