You will need to give your GP the information that you have given us in order to get the referral. Foghorn snoring. Waking up gasping. Waking up with a jolt while falling asleep. Difficulty managing work.

There are also a number of posts on using pillow speakers and breathing techniques that help with being quietly awake and ready for sleep at the next opportunity. You can work out your own breathing exercises. Breathing techniques also help with the stress of sleep deprivation and negative mood.
