i did have a sleep study the night before, and it was 'normal'--just a lack of stage 3/4 sleep,
but nothing else that was strange.
It seems some people are confused about the definition of EDS--I attended a sleep 'clinic'
run by my former psychologist, and she insisted that it was necessary to fall asleep during
the day in order to have EDS. Also from reading about narcolepsy, i think EDS in that case
always involves falling asleep during the day.
But good to know it encompasses feeling intensely sleepy/tired during day *without*
necessarily sleeping.
