I was just thinking of what i fear most--since panic attacks come out of fear (right?). I
obviously fear not sleeping, and being painfully tired the next day. I fear this GREATLY. I
fear not being able to rest for a few minutes when i need to, and reviving somewhat so i
can feel ok and get through my day.

I've done CBT, and it's just very difficult for me to change these thoughts. I KNOW i'll feel
awful (my daytime tiredness seems to be more painful and intense than it is for other
insomniacs--some others, anyway) if i don't sleep. I guess i won't die, but i don't really
want to live like this!

anyway, just trying to identify my fears that might be causing the panic. I guess i rely
heavily on my ability to lie down and get some relief, and if it doesn't happen i'm
miserable. So, probably not shocking that i'd develop anxiety around it. But why why why
do our minds have to mess with us so much???
