I think your new sleep habits are what has improved your sleep. Zoloft is a stimulant and is not good for the treatment of insomnia. Depression and insomnia are two different things and not one in the same. Most people who are truly depressed seemed to sleep to much instead of the other way around. I feel the medical community has gotton it backwards. Insomnia in itself can cause depressed feelings, just like any other medical conddition that affects the quality of one's life.
