I too have been waking to every little noise around me, and yes, my husband now sleeps in another room. It started with his TV, which he can't sleep without and I can't sleep with..then it snowballed from there...his snoring increased (or at least I THINK it did), as did every noise in the house that I now hear. I'm still not sure whether it's his snoring, stress, or my inability to focus on sleep, but I'm NOT SLEEPING. I'm going to try Yoga, which I've heard helps in the relaxation process...as well as the ear plugs...good luck !
