I can only speak for myself but I find this statement to be untrue. I suffer the same symptons (frequent wakenings) but have suffered from anxiety and occasional panic attacks. I have never considered myself to be depressed, although lack of sleep was not easy, and have never been diagnosed as being depressed. I suggest seeing a good doctor. Larry
