cant sleep withou meds

Thank too all who responded too my last posting but i would like too add that now i have went 5 days without taking thae ambien but still i cannot fall asleep, i do not sleep int the day and i do not sleep in the night i never fall asleep it is a totally night mare i feel like i losing my mind i think that maybe i too meds for so long that it did something too the part of my brain that brings sleep after all living on ambien for 5 years every night is a long time i dont know what too do my doctoer has give me remron right know it makes me drowsy but i havent went in a good totally sleep too were i dont hear every noisy going on around me any body have any more advise for me. Beck
