First of all, you should definitely do the sleep study. If you do have apnea, they will wake you up, and attached the oral device to your face and monitor how much better you sleep. Apnea is easy to treat with this oral device.
Also, if you are overweight (most people with apnea are) you should try and lose the weight. Apnea results from having to much flesh in the throat region and that ultimately blocks your breathing passage. This could be a natural cure, but until then, get the oral device.
