Eating and Insomnia.

Posted by steve on July 26, 2000 at 07:02:10:

I have had chronic insomnia for many years and have had success with overcoming most of it however I have found that I cannot eat dinner and fall asleep without waiting at least 4 to 5 hours depending on the amount of food. I do not eat a lot and it does not matter what I eat. If I eat too close to bedtime I cannot fall asleep. I have seen many doctors and they feel there should be no connection. Has anyone experienced this, and what, if anything helped?
