Cielo: you need to ditch the smoking.Besides the obvious health risks ( #1 cause of heart disease/heart attacks,which kills more women then all the cancers combined),it acts as a stimulant. You need to practice good sleep hygiene in addition to taking the right meds.Forget Sonata, I have found it to be good for only 2 hrs. at most. My suggestion would be remeron. I have had limited experience with it but so far very positive. Please take my comment above about smoking positively. I don't want to appear to be lecturing(I smoked for 30 yrs. before a heart attack made me give them up. I only wish I had done it yrs. before ).Good luck to you
