I noticed that, too...NO ONE ever mentions the big V!!! when i had a panic attack before a flight a few years ago, i called my dr. to request something. the nurse said that she could call in xanex, but definatley NOT valium, which i had not even brought up. Anyways, the funny thing is my vet precribes 5mg valium to my DOG like they are candy...(well, she does need them, but that's a whole different story.)everything that i have read suggests xanex is much more addicting. i have shared the "puppy valium" and been preceribed xanex, and the xanex seems much strongerand would be my choice if my dr. would ever listen to me when i ask for something for my anxiety and sleep problems. (i've tried buspar, trazadone(for sleep)you name it.) it's not like i cant get valium from my vet-what a laugh!!!
