More than anything else, try to reduce the anxiety you feel while unable to sleep. On-line or journal entries can take your mind off the frustration of not falling asleep. Use this as quiet time to pray or reflect. Know that you are going to survive the next day.

I deal with this often. I wish it didn't happen but it is recurring. Again, just try to relax your way through it.
