Karin...I am sorry to hear about your dreadful insomnia. I also have been suffering from this disorder for almost 4 years. Although I am 51 and at a totally different stage of life I know the desperation and joylessness insomnia causes. It sounds as if you have seen some specialists to have gotten prescriptions or are you using over the counter drugs? Can you remember if anything happened in January to cause this sudden onset of insomnia? Are you worried about something? Or anxious? I would suggest if you haven't already to speak with a therapist that may be able to diagnose your condition correctly... It would be better since you are so young to be able to sleep naturally without drugs, but maybe if the right drug is found you can take it for a while and then wean off of it...I myself have been taking zanax for close to 2 years and it has worked quite well but is a very addictive drug and I am now weaning myself off of it, but it is not easy... I am an astrologer and believe me there are cycles of a life that can cause mental upsets and imbalances..If you would like write me your birthday, time of birth{AM or PM }and place of birth and I will have a look at your chart...In the mean time try to do some deep breathing, eat nourishing food, think good thoughts, and try not to obsess on sleep. The more you worry the worse it gets. Something that has worked for me is Hypnosis, yet every case is different so you will have to determine with the help of a trained specialist what is actually going on in your life...I wish you luck.I feel for you tremendously....
