How long have you been on remeron? What dose? The most weight gain happens on lower doses. At the highest dose, I've not gained much weight. The weight gain also tends to taper off after a while; I think it was about 4-6 weeks for me.

I took remeron at a lower dose before, and when I quit I was worried about getting the weight off too, but it came off pretty quickly. Most was gone within a few weeks. This stuff slows down my metabolism, which normally allows me to eat anything without gaining weight, so as soon as that changed back, I was back to my old weight.
