Remeron is a tetracyclic antidepressant that induces sleep. It's not supposed to be addictive. When I first tried it, I was in a 'stuper' for 2 days. When I tried a lower dose a few months later, the 'next-day' grooginess didn't occur. It's been pretty good for me as a sleep-aid.
