Nancy...You story of insomnia sounds dreadful...I also have periods where I can be up for days.It is so disheartening...I have had insomnia for four years and for the last year and a half I have been taking Xanax....It has worked fairly well , but many times if I didn't sleep enough I would feel like a drug addict the next day. Horrible!!I have been reducing the dose and now once again I am up again. Three nights ago at 4:30. Two nights ago at 3:30 and last night at 2:30. I am trying so hard to get off of this drug because it is so addictive that it has been banned in the united Kingdom.They say it causes brain shrinkage, not exactly something I look foward to later on in life...I feel for you and anybody else who has to deal with this god awful
condition. I hope in some small way god hears your prayers, and mine too.....
