I have been on doxepin for about 2 years 100mg at night. I sleep excellently on it. I get at least 8 hours of good sleep. Prior to that I had tried everything on the market, I mean everything and doxepin was the only thing that worked for me. You do gain weight, about 20lbs over the 2 yr period but I hav'nt gained any more since then. In fact I became more active and work out during the day now and my weight is starting to drop somewhat.
