In reply to ann, joanie and Chamoline, I am so glad to have found this web site. I didnt know so many people had this problem. I want to give you a little back ground about myself. Last year in February my regular doctor for about 15 years decided to retire. He had me on 75mgs of elavil for most of those 15 years. When he retired I decided to take my self off elavil and start trying some natural remidies. I tried st. johns wart and many other remidies. I also started to see a naturalist doctor. Nothing worked . Everything he put me on failed . I went through a period of about six months getting only an hour or two of sleep a week. I have been going through menopause since 1996. I was on prempro for about five years, so I wanted to go all natural with the hormones, that didnt work either. I wound up going back on the hormones {prempro} last September, I feel a lot better now. I Had to start seeing a psychatrist & he put me on all of the medicines that I mentioned in my other letter. I had a real bad reaction to the remeron &other medicines he has me on. I know that I am probably overmedicated, but up to now nothing else worked. The thought of a hypnotist is not bad tho. Thank you for your comments. God Bless you all.
