Need Info on Seroquel

Doc just gave me Seroquel (quetiapine fumarate) to stop the constant round and round thinking as I lay there and try to go to sleep. I'm wondering if anyone else knows of this or is taking it. Doc said it would make me sleepy. It did the first night I took it and I slept until noon the next day. Took it again tonight and now I'm back to square one - awake as usual. Took one Xanax after Seroquel but all it did was wake me up even more. The Seroquel is awesome in turning off the noise and constant thoughts, but it didn't make me sleepy one bit after the first night.....I'm throwing in the towel!!!!! Any suggestions?
