remeron working much better than ambien

Posted by moe on March 14, 2001 at 22:25:43:

Have suffered with increasingly severe insomnia for 2 years.
Doc kept prescribing different ssri anti-depressants though I wondered if I was actually"depressed". Also took Ambien for 2 months which put me to sleep for a few a hours but did not leave me feeling well rested. A new Dr. told me to stop taking paxil and ambien and recommended remerol - which is used for more anxiety related problems. 30 mg of Remerol taken before bed has resulted in me feeling better and sleeping better than I have in years. If nothing else, it has allowed me to get out of the serious sleep deficit cycle I was in, and hopefully will continue to do so.
