I have used Trazodone for the past 4 yrs. I started out @ 25 mg. and increased over the years to 300 mg. which is what I take now. You will probably not see much effect with dosages lower than 150 mg. The downside for me w/Trazodone is that I have had to increase the dosage to maintain the effect. I have maxed out @ 300mg. and have recently added Celexa (more for mood) which is working great for me now. I am sleeping a wonderful 8 hrs. every night. Trazodone has been a good drug for me, but I know it is not for everyone. Another thing w/Trazodone is that it worked very slow at first, but took a long time before I had a complete response with it. I hope this gives you some encouragement. Blessings!
