Hi Bridget,
I know getting married was a huge adjustment for me. My husband could sleep through anything so me adding sounds or smells or even having a t.v. or radio never bothered him. One thing you might try is a white noise machine. They usually come with 4 or 5 differrent sounds like rain, white noise, waterfalls and so on. Mine was $20 and I got it at wal-mart. It is called a sound spa. It will be with the heating pads and massagers. This will give him the noise without the wind. Hopefully, you could tolerate it better. If not, perhaps you guys could swap nights with and without the fan on. Hopefully one of you will get used to the other option. Good Luck.
