Insomnia, Oversleeping, Nightmares..

Posted by SleepyMe on March 21, 2001 at 11:49:37:

Okay, I've never posted to anything like this before, so please bear with me. Ever since I was a kid, I've slept way too much. We're talking upwards of 72 hours plus, if left to just sleep. It's also always been deep sleep that I'm hard to wake from. That's probably why it's really hard on me to not be able to sleep lately. For about the past month, it's been almost impossible for me to fall asleep, no matter how tired I am. More or less it's a sleep when my body allows me to sleep no matter what time it is type situation. When I have gotten sleep lately, it's been nothing but nightmares that leave me more sleepy. By now I'm just really tired and sleepy and about on the verge of crying all the time. Is this just insomnia? Should I go to a doctor? I'd feel kinda silly doing that since I'm not sick or anything. Well, thanks.
