Sorry,Eliza, but I didn't finish on my first post...Anyway, you're getting to be a young lady now and you know there are no real monsters although bad things do happen, the chances of it happening to you are slim. Probably what is scaring you, like most of us is the control of your surroundings that you give up when you go to sleep..it's when we are most alone and most vulnerable. But it's the same for everybody. It made me very sad when I read that you cry everynight before bed. Have you ever talked to any of your friends? I know at your age it's hard to go to a counselor or a strange adult...many of us suffered in silence but that's no good. Maybe writing down your fears will help you see that they are unfounded....journaling is a great way to express your worries and then they aren't rumbling around in your head. Do you keep a diary? I hope I've been of some help and I'll keep you in my prayers.
