That doesn't sound too good. :-( I, and most everyone who has had a major nagging illness (short of cancer) will tell you that you are your best doctor. It's true we are not doctors but the thing is anyone can reseach a single problem and end up with as good an understanding as a GP. The thing about a GP is they know a little about everything and they know the science behind it.

I would start by finding out what is wrong with me, don't use the internet for this, the stuff you find on the internet is very limiting. Go to a medical library (such as a large university would have)

Work it out in your mind what you think is wrong with you. Do everything you can to figure it out. The $45.00 you pay for a doctors appointment isn't going to buy much - don't expect them to do wonders. I have a really caring doctor - but they are few and far between. And lastly, don't wait till August (unless you are seeing a specialist)call near-by cities and ask friends. Also, tell the nurses you are willing to stand by for a cancellation.

You should question this fact - you are taking a seditive type drug AND a amphetamine type drug.

As soon as you take control and refuse to be prisoner to the whims of a doctor, life can return to normal. A lot of this will be a battleground in your mind, and I wish I could explain myself better.
