Laura..Until you are sure what is wrong, the best I can suggest is to be very conscientious about your nutrition. We are what we eat. Be sure to get good variety in your food and at least 100 grams of carbs (unless you are diabetic or on a restricted diet by your doctor) which provide the necessary serotonin, etc. to keep the neurotransmitters in the brain working effectively. I mean good carbs not candy and white sugar junk food. This will also help with your sleep. Try to listen to relaxing music and do some proper relaxational deep breathing.
