Posted by Danielle on June 03, 2001 at 10:38:18:I've always, always, been a side sleeper. However, I sleep so hard on the side of my face that I'm starting to get crease lines where my cheek is compressed against my facial bones. I've tried softer pillows and satin pillow cases, but they haven't helped. I also have tension problems in my jaw where grit my teeth at night. My jaw is usually sore in the morning on the side I have been sleeping on. I hoping changing to a back position would help. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, I the doctor told me to sleep on my back, something to do with the blood clots forming in my mouth. I was miserable the whole time, could hardly sleep, despite all the meds i was on that made me drowsy. I think it might have been that I didn't have proper neck support though. I am going to try a neck support pillow, and see if that works. I am just wondering if it is worth it, if mabye I will be hurting myself by sleeping on my back. After all, my side is the position i feel most comfortable in. Any suggestions, comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Danielle.
