Ambien Prescription Costs

As a chronic insomniac, I've really found that Ambien is the most effective medication to help me get at least 3-4 hours of decent sleep a night.
But what can really keep me aware is the actual cost of using this drug.
Does anyone here know of any sources that can fill prescriptions for Ambien at a reasonable price, that someone whose health insurance does not cover this drug, can afford?
I tried checking Canadian pharmacies, but apparently Ambien is not supplied there.
