I too suffered that, and still do to an extent. The thing I learned to do was live on a few hours sleep, once you realize nothing catastrophic will happen - you'll still get to your meeting and still funtion fine, it gets easier.

I also have a very stressful job and spend a good deal of my life in motels. I just had to learn to deal with it, and for me it came with a slogan I invented for myself - "No matter how bad they day is, the night is mine."

I learned to shut my stress off at the end of the workday. I can't lie to you, it isn't easy to do, but it is dooable.
