Mike,

Thanks again for the info. My friend who originally hooked me up with the Ambien said it was basically to establish a sleep pattern (I went from working 2nd shift to normal morning hours, 8 to 5. Although I wasn't sleeping the greatest then, at least it was consistent, but I have always been more of a "night person"). I had enough 10 mg tablets for almost a week (had like 6 of them) and took them as such. It didn't help. Recently, my problem has gone from not being able to fall asleep to not being able to stay asleep (although I can now fall asleep without too much trouble, say in 30 minutes or so.) Is Ambien good for that as well? I've tried all kinds of stuff and the insomnia seems resistant to just about everything else (meds and otherwise), but I'm scared to take only 5 mg as I'm not sure it will work.
