Congratulations on your good sleep and thanks for your comments, Sheila. I think, like you you, I do feel more anxious about sleep, knowing that I have to get up at a certain time. But this technique has worked well for many, many people who weren't doing well just going to sleep and waking up whenever. How long did you try sleep restriction? I assume your sleep did not improve with it? Were there any benefits? I think I will continue with it for a while because many people have said that it takes a while for the benefits to really happen. Do you attribute your good sleep now solely to the spiritual work you've done and the readings you use? I do agree that a spiritual foundation is important in terms of feeling fundamentally secure. Your comments encourage me to find affirming readings that I can try to use before bed as well.
