I am having same problems as you some nights, its like I dont want to go to sleep. However I do eventually fall asleep and when my mind is racing I have reasurance that I am in stage 2 sleep and that is where everyone spends 50% of their sleep anyway so that gives me a positive thought.

Eventually you will enter deep sleep as our brains are programmed too enter it and no matter how hard we resist, eventually we will enter it.

Take care
