I realized after I singed off on that last one, I meant to add that you probably don't want to walk home from work -- if you're at all like me, you carry alot of crap to and from work. Not too relaxing to have your shoulder feel like it will break. Like you, I am NOT a morning person, but found this to be the only way to stick to a routine. I started with getting up 15 minutes early (when you think about it, 15 minutes isn't that much, you still have to get up anyway) and increasing. The end of the day doesn't work unless I leave all my junk at work and jog home, otherwise, too much stuff comes up. (No, I don't live in the sprawling countryside, I live in the city, just lucky enough to have a good route) You're right about the heat -- it is way too much. No good for exercising or sleeping!

I was hoping all this would make me sleep better at night, make it easier to fall asleep. Like I said, it hasn't helped that much with that, but I definitely feel a lot better mentally. When I have a particularly hard workout, I will sleep very well. (what a feeling!) You'd think that would be incentive to do it everyday, but it doesn't work out that way. Many times I am just too tired... and the cycle continues.

Good luck to you tonight...
