I can relate. for me, if ambien was in the house, I had to have it. It worked so easily, it was like I passed out- no effort at all. --and before I passed out things around the room would dance--patterns on wallpaper, sheets, etc. and I wasn't scared. Anyway, I know those had to go I would cut them in half...and when I ran out I had to be strong and just say no to my doctor. He then put me on anti-depressents, even though I wasn't really depressed. They really didn't work that well. They got me through untill the end of the school year. I want to start this year "drug-free", but who knows.
