Usually I read...some bizarre things have developed recently. Things have to be perfect or I can't sleep. There must be no sound so now I wear ear plugs. But when that problem is solved and there is no noise I then start to focus on other 'annoyances'. No part of my blanket can touch my stomach because I am afraid my stomach touching the blanket will wake me up when i breathe. I must have a blanket or pillow case or something soft in my hands because I notice that my fingers will close up and touch my palms when I fall asleep and I'm afraid that will wake me up. I absolutely CANNOT breathe on myself because that is annoying
so the air from my nose to my arms has to be blocked off by a blanket or something...It's very horrible. A psychiatrist I once saw said because
of this I was obsessive compulsive and suggested Paxil. But I don't want to trade in my insomnia for a sexual dysfunction. And I'm fine during the day...if I got any sleep.
