hey that was funny! see you still have your sense of humor-that's a good thing! i am on 10 mg-seems to help me a bit-I am definately mellower about things-and i do not feel drugged using it at all. a general physician who specializes in sleep disorders prescribed it for me, along with making a sleep log which we are going to discuss in a couple of weeks, and keeping a journal of sorts before i go to bed.

check it out with your doctor or see if you can get a referral to a person who has a specialty in sleep disorders. but i would revisit the therapy option as well- i have found it helpful-and hopeful, which is key! lets put it this way-i am still not sleeping GREAT-but 2 months ago-my cycles would have me in hysterics most nights of the week. if anything, the paxil is helping me keep it in perspective..allowing me to keep my eye on the big picture-you know, life where other things matter than whether or not i get a solid nights sleep...

i am not all together by any means, so don't think that. but i am working on it, and that's the best i can hope for i guess.

good luck!
