thanks for checking in... it IS a hell week, that's why i haven't been around. i'm handling it okay, though. i decided that i had to leave the stress at work and not bring it home, where it keeps me up all night. it's been going pretty well. i realized i had only 2 choices: let it make me crazy, and take the ambien to sleep and feel like hell all week, or let it go and sleep on my own. so far, so good -- i wake up alot, and usually have a good hourlong anxiety attack somewhere around 2 or 3am, but i've been able to go back to sleep. sunday night i couldn't help it, i was tense for the week ahead (i've seen the same thing said in other posts, interesting)and i took some, but the rest of the week has been med-free, yipee! i feel pretty darn good. in fact, lately i've been feeling MUCH better, and i'm positive that all this support from you all is making the difference. no kidding...

did you have an okay week? at least your weekend sounds like it will be awesome (oh, i know the sleeping away from home thing is tough, but give it a shot. if it doesn't work and you give in to meds, don't beat yourself up)
