Insomnia and Diabetes

Posted by Comet on August 23, 2001 at 21:41:48:

My father is 61 and mostly stays at home as he recently retired from his business. He is a diabetic and has problems going to sleep. He even took Xenox and Alluna but they really don't work....though he gets sleepy in daytime if he takes medicine at night.

One issue is his doing nothing and staying home all day. Is diabetes anyway related to his sleeping problems? And what kind of treatments will work for him?
