You'd be surprised how many insomniacs have the same fearful thoughts. In Gregg Jacob's book he refers to them as NST's (if I'm not mistaken)....negative sleep thoughts and the idea is to replace them with positive realistic ones. You might benefit from some of the relaxation tapes to listen to just at bedtime. There are many good ones on the market.oops! The book title is, "Say Goodnight To Insomnia" and it's available on this site.
