How's it going? I wish I had one answer that would solve it for everyone, myself included, but alas, I do not. I don't profess to know what to tell people, but I can offer suggestions based on my personal experience. First, I will need to know more about your insomnia.

Have you been to see a doctor? They can usually run some basic lab tests to rule out some conditions such as diabetes, etc. If you have seen a Dr., have they referred you to a sleep lab? How long have you had insomnia? When did it start? Describe it.

Keep in mind, while I personally have not had much success with seeing doctors, this is no substition for them. You may have a type of insomnia which they can identify and treat.
