HAVE BEEN TAKING PROVIGIL FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW. FIND IT IS NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS RITILIN. LASTS ABOUT 8 HOURS (PLUS OR MINUS A FEW MINUTES), THEN BIG ATTACK OF SLEEPINESS. HAVE COME CLOSER TO FALLING ASLEEP DRIVING AFTER THE PROVIGIL WEARS OFF THAN I EVER HAD BEFORE I STARTED TAKING EITHER RITILIN OR PROVIGIL. GLAD TO HEAR THAT THE SHORT TERM EFFECTS OF PROVIGIL ARE NOT JUST ME. DID YOU TALK TO YOUR DOC ABOUT TAKING THE EXTRA OR DID YOU MAKE THE DECISION ON YOUR OWN? AM NEW TO THIS NAROCLEPSI BUSINESS, AND KIND OF FEELING MY WAY AROUND. PLUS SIDE OF PROVIGIL - IT LOWERED MY BLOOD PREASSURE RATHER THAN RAISING IT LIKE THE RITILIN DID, AND JUST RAISED MY HEART RATE A LITTLE BIT.
