I have found that when my body has decided to go to sleep, there is nothing I can do to keep myself awake. The best thing to do is pull over as soon as you feel the sleepiness coming on. I can't tell you how many times I have come incredibly close to driving off the road, or worse yet, into oncoming traffic. When you need a nap, you need a nap.
