The provigil interacted with the effectiveness of my birth control pills and I had "break-through" in the middle of my cycle. I'm still having the period - day 13! I guess the regularly scheduled period is now occurring. Its kind of tiring. Anyway, my Gyn. will have me start a much stronger birth control at the beginning of next cycle and we'll see what happens. I have to take the b.c. because of high progesterone, but I'm not sure how I feel about taking strong b.c. either. I guess I'll wait and see what next month brings. I moved into a new office over the past two days, so I'm not sure where real exhaustion and narcolepsy begin and end! As always, its just a wait and see, I guess. I tried the Ritilin in the afternoon, but found that after I was used to Provigil, that an afternoon 100mg does the trick. It just interferes with the effect of the birth control! Good Luck
