yesterday i went to refill my prescription of provigil. i wondered how i ran out so fast, but my doctor only wrote the script for 30 tablets, and i was taking 3 a day. i thought he must have just messed up writing it.
well, the lady at the pharmacy mentioned it, and the fact that i have 5 refills, but it would be cheaper to get them all at once, due to not having 5 copayments.
anyway, i agreed, and she did some finagling (sp??) around, because in most cases my insurance company will cover 30 day supplies, so she made it into a 30 day supply so i would only have to pay 5 bucks.
well guess what? the insurance would not accept it. on this drug they will only approve EIGHT DAY SUPPLY at a time!!!! totally OUTRAGEIOUS!

but somehow she got the computer, which is hooked up to the ins co to accept giving me 90 pills for one price.

i am not sure how this works, but i think if they are going to only allow 8 days worth, i am being discrimiated against, and i have NEVER in my life used that term to refer to myself.

will keep you posted, you all do the same, thanks.
