disability in UK

Posted by cathy on April 11, 1999 at 10:48:11:

Has anybody successfully applied for disability in the UK with narcolepsy/cataplexy?
I am unable to work due to severity of both. Any advice/info appreciated.
Also, has anybody who uses Provigil/modafinil found symptons of severe facial swelling and whites of eyes turning yellow? (among other adverse reactions) does this subside? any feedback welcome.
thanks,
cathy
