Matt,
You mentioned being on modafinil for 5-6 years. What is your experience with it? I've been very sensitive to several CNS stimulants, and to the anti-depressents for cataplexy (kidney infections, etx.). So I'm trying to gather as much information as possible, as my neurologist would like to try modafinil.
I'm proactive with my health care, and have also had costly and harmful misdiagnoses and treatments along the way. Information and experiences from other patients are of value to me. It has been a very long road, as though every day is a painful and tiresome battle. I don't want to stop fighting, or it seems that life will be missed!
Any information about the drug or your experience would be greatly appreciated!
Mary
