Try some other options. There is a new drug called Provigil or Modafinil. It seems to be promising. I just switched from Ritilin to Provigil...can't say that things are going well yet, but I'll be patient. The Ritilin was a series of highs and lows; the Provigil makes me feel more stable. There are other drugs for better night time sleep such as Klonopin and some anti-depressents. Its important to keep and open and honest relationship with your doctor...you doctor can't help you unless you are very honest about what you need to cope. It is sometime embarrassing to admit the things that we do, but they can only help us if they know the severity of our desperation. Also, I haven't heard many good things about Cyclert...I suppose it is o.k. for some, but have read lots of complaints. Good Luck
