Provigil and Woman

Posted by Ann on April 27, 1999 at 19:22:05:

I have been on Provigil for a week now and am having terrible depression. I was on Ritilin and hated it, but didn't have the depression. Went to my doctor today and he thinks that there are a few things going on. Mentioned that there is a link between Progesterone and Narcolepsy...this was aided by the euphoria of the Ritilin, but the Provigil doesn't help this. Are there any other women out there on Provigil who are experiencing incresed depression related to the mentrual cycle? I hope that this anxiety will be a monthly thing. My doctor also said that women seem to have more emotional troubles because of the hormone swings on top of narcolepsy. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks
