I've never heard anything else about the "electrical feeling" your talking about but I think I know what you mean... Sometimes when I lay down after a strange tingling sensation completely fills my head and then my body, but it's not exactly what i feel when falling asleep usually. It only happens to me a few times each month. I can feel it happening, it is so overwhelming I can't describe it. Then I go into some really strange dream-like experience, except it's more real than dreams and i see a bunch of weird shapes and colors and hear music. I wouldn't call it a bad thing though, I think it feels pretty cool. I feel like I'm entering another dimension or something, it is pretty amazing. I never try to fight it cause then I'll get scared and it will turn into a nightmare.
